I spent a month living in a remote cabin at the McHenry Distillery in Port Arthur, Tasmania. The distillery is on over 100 acres of heavily wooded land, nestled on the back of Mt. Arthur and surrounded by National Forest. When you spend real time in a place, you absorb its magic, and ideas flow. I came up with a dozen campaign pieces, and I was fortunate enough to bring in a fantastic local filmmaker to shoot these pieces. We even filed a trademark for The Tasmanian Whisky. If you’re ever fortunate enough to be in Southern Tasmania, make the effort to get over to McHenry Distillery and see the magic of the place and have a few drams.
That wallaby was a wonderfully happy accident.
McHenry Distillery has it’s own natural spring named Alison Springs right on the property.
McHenry is surrounded by tall trees full of noisy ravens and cockatoos.
Who needs a car park when you have a National Park?
